When you disown a Lutari, he doesn’t go to the pound to wait with all the other pets for a potential new owner; he runs away from you. Not back to the wild, to live his life rolling with shallow ocean surf or paddling about in saltwater lakes, because Lutari are predisposed to forming very strong bonds of companionship with their owners. So he runs mindlessly, blindly, on all fours with legs better suited for swimming. He runs with nothing but the pang of betrayal choking his little throat and the utter, vast loneliness of being utterly unloved. He runs until his heart gives out, and with the pain of his last breath wheezing itself out of his lungs, he curls up in on himself and dies, the memory of his creation and your facade of affection fresh in his dimming eyes. He will never be found in all of Neopia again.

Yesterday I found the pasword and wanted to see if it still worked. I entered the pasword I was sure of it was the right one but Neopets said that that account doesn't even exist. I'm confuzzled. Can neopets delete accounts?
they can indeed. every once in a while there’s a purge, in which accounts and pets that haven’t been active in a really long time are deleted to free up names and space on the server. that’s probably what happened to you, unfortunately. D:
